The City of Hollywood has established a Commercial Property Improvement Program known as CPIP. CPIP is a pilot program designed to improve the facades of publicly or privately owned commercial and industrial buildings within designated areas (Census Tract Block Groups) of Hollywood Boulevard between Interstate 95 and 22nd Avenue. The program is based on the premise that exterior improvements to commercial or industrial buildings in highly visible locations stimulate private investment in commercial/ mixed-use properties and the surrounding area, attract new customers, and generate new economic opportunities.
The City of Hollywood is proud to offer CPIP grant funding to public and privately owned commercial and industrial property owners as an incentive to restore, renovate and improve their properties along this vital corridor. By enhancing the physical characteristics and overall appearance of the corridor, the City anticipates these property improvements will increase occupancy and property values. To learn more about this pilot program and become part of the revitalization underway along the City’s premier namesake boulevard please call the City's Office of Communications, Marketing and Economic Development at 954-921-3620.
