Lifelong entrepreneur, Shark Tank contestant, and chef, Jason Hadley, with his wife Claudia, recently opened The Bang Shack at 120 South 20th Avenue in Downtown Hollywood. Previously located at the Yellow Green Farmers Market, The Bang Shack made a name for itself with its world-famous Chicken Bang Dip.
The Chicken Bang Dip -- a tasty combination of white meat chicken, cheese, spinach and a secret sauce (trademarked, patented and copyrighted!) -- along with companion Vegetarian and Vegan Dips, are available at The Bang Shack on Nachos (from $12) or Hotdogs ($4), in Bowls with rice (from $14) and in Burritos (from $10). To-Go packages are also available ($8 - $19), as are free toppings and avocados ($1 extra).
"It's a chickeny, cheesy, soft spinachy scrumdiddlyumcious dip that will keep folks coming back for more," said Jason.
The Bang Shack also offers a full line of beverages including beer, wine, soda, and a variety of all natural juices.
A St. Pete native and natural salesperson, Hadley has spent the pandemic year building out the new restaurant in Downtown Hollywood.
"The reason I chose Hollywood is simple," he explained. "After talking with the Hollywood Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), I knew that I had people in my corner fighting for me to win from the inside. They were amazing in their efforts to find me the very best location, programs and the assistance I needed to fulfill my dream. They went above and beyond anything that I would've expected from government employees. Everyone that I contacted was passionate about assisting me. It was like it was more than just jobs for them. I quickly found out that, from the Mayor down, this community is truly about the success, protection, preservation and future of residents and business owners of this great city."
