The City of Hollywood, in partnership with OIC of South Florida, is offering Work Skills Training Scholarships to eligible Hollywood residents. Each 12-week course—now offered on Saturdays—provides FREE in-depth vocational training, preparing participants for entry-level positions in the selected career path.
Only those applicants residing within the City's Low to Moderate Income (LMI) neighborhoods may participate in this program (indicated by the blue shaded areas in the map below). All submitted applications will go through an address verification process to ensure that participants meet this program requirement.

Participants must also self-certify their household income and provide proof of their U.S. Citizen or resident status. The income restrictions follow the guidelines for the City's Neighborhood Pride Program, therefore program participants must be low-to-moderate income (earning up to 120% of the area median income) as defined by the agreement signed with the County for the funding of this program.
