COVID-19 continues to impact small business with cautious consumers and continued emergency orders to protect public health and safety. While you continue to protect your customers by promoting facial coverings, proper hygiene and safe social distancing, the City of Hollywood is here to support you.
CARES Relief Funding
Additional CARES Relief Funds are available for Hollywood businesses who have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Grant funding to pay eligible utility expenses, lease and mortgage payments, as well as expenses related to COVID-19, is available for small businesses of 20 employees or less. Reimbursement is not required.
Just over one million dollars in federal funding is available for specifically for Hollywood small businesses through this program administered by the Broward County Office of Economic and Small Business Development.
The County has launched a program website where you will be able to learn more about the grant program, including eligibility, the application process, and how to request technical assistance to complete your application. Interested small businesses and non-profit businesses that plan to apply be prepared in advance are encouraged to visit the Broward County Small Business CARE Grant Program website today. Business owners are encouraged to:

Micro-Enterprise Small Business Assistance Program
The City of Hollywood is also distributing federal funding to help businesses with 5 of fewer employees. The Micro-Enterprise Small Business Assistance Program was established specifically to assist micro-enterprises negatively impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.During the first funding cycle launched this summer, more than 45 Hollywood businesses qualified to receive assistance. The target date for the 2nd funding cycle is early December.
