The City of Hollywood's Economic Development staff participated as exhibitors in Hispanic Unity of Florida's 8th Annual Entrepreneur Summit at Nova Southeastern University on September 25. This day-long learning and networking event showcased the diverse array of businesses that contribute to South Florida's economy. Staff connected and networked with the 300+ attendees that included area business owners, consultants, other exhibitors and aspiring entrepreneurs—including six participants of the City's inaugural FastTrac® Start-Up Program. The Hispanic Unity of Florida was founded in 1982 and has grown to serve diverse and multi-cultural working families from the United States as well as more than 25 other countries.
